Hello all, headed out to HK for business on the 15th and I am on flight 1005 LAX-HND and I am in a middle seat with no aisle seats left...I checked out the seatmap yesterday and the prem eco section only had 4-5 seats taken (I know its not the complete story, but may be a semi-accurate guide). Does ANA block any eco seats from booking like United sometimes does (plane looks quite full and when its time to check in miraculously it has 3-4 empty rows at internet check in)? Or as a *G would it be possible to get moved into y+ for a fee? I am not trying to mooch an upgrade (although if it lands in my lap I will not complain one bit) but trying to make the ride more comfortable as seat guru says its a 16" wide seat and the thought of being in that seat makes me a bit anxious. Luckily I will be able to check out air chinas business class on the 77W on the way back but I would like to make it to HK with my knees and hips intact. Also is the 16" seat width on the 77E accurate? EK still maintains a 17" width on their 777 fleet with a 3-4-3 configuration.
