There seem to be a lot of complementary bump ups this year, where people who haven't come close to requalifying are nevertheless being given their former status, two years in a row in some cases. (IIRC in another thread someone reported being given Plat with 71-73 nights and then getting Plat again for 2013 with 26-28 nights.) Don't offer to pay to buy your status back until you're sure you need to do this.
