A very interesting situation, overall. I have seen pax lose it over very minor IROPS, so it seems like things were handled fairly well if passengers didn't stage any riots. Unfortunate bit about the pilot alarming some passengers with the potential additional delay, but that is quite minor in the scheme of things.
