That was what the agent at the lounge said (she said she tried to call the check-in desk to find out why they did but no one picked up).

No i didn't pay but is it even for sale to begin with? I mean when you purchase CW i would think seat assignment is automatically included.

On top of that I had to request the amenity kit because they forgot to give me one. I don't know whether they ran out or if he felt bad about it but the flight attendant decided to give me a first class kit instead - really appreciate the gesture. ^
