Thanks stargold, you really give lots of information. I think probably I need couple of days to work on it

I just got some really "silly" questions:

1. If I want to choose metioned LAX-SFO-ICN-CTU, which operated by 3 different airlines, how should I do? Should I call them seperately or just contact Krisflyer and ask it to settle the plan?

2. Where can I find the tax & charge information, just as you did here?

3. as you mentioned "I would pay a revenue ticket one-way and redeem F for the other direction...Might as well enjoy one of the few privileges of KF miles which is redemptions in Suites" -- do you mean I buy a normal ticket for one way and use my mileage to redeem a 1st class for the other direction? If I want to redeem a first class suite, is every SA airlines available or just SQ?

Many thanks.

CTU-NRT-LAX (same-day connection) NH-SQ: $226 taxes & charges

The round-trip will cost 90k miles and you will also enjoy much shorter journey times than going through SIN, not to mention vastly lower charges.

Alternatively, I would pay a revenue ticket one-way and redeem F for the other direction, which would be 100k miles one-way and worth a heck of a lot more in terms of value for miles. Might as well enjoy one of the few privileges of KF miles which is redemptions in Suites...
