That's an odd number of points. Usually, this is because Category 2 hotels are 4,000 points on a weekday and 3,000 during the weekend, so two nights average out to 3,500 if one of them is one and the other. If you click on Show Night-By-Night Rate, it will display as 3K and 4K, respectively.
What dates are you looking at exactly?
