Using AMEX MR Points for Flight to Japan
Hey guys,

I'm trying to use my AMEX points to get a flight to Japan and had some questions for you guys:

1) I found a Korean Air flight from LAX to NRT. I was hoping to transfer points to Delta, then buy my ticket via Delta's SkyAlliance with Korean Airlines. Am I thinking about this correctly? I went through the motions to see if this would work but (a) couldn't find the option on Korean Airlines webpage to use Delta points (I was all the way to the ticket purchase page), and (b) on the Delta webpage, I couldn't find the Korean Air flight! I'm obviously doing something wrong here...

2) I am aware I can use the AMEX travelocity engine to buy a ticket on any airline, but was wondering if this is efficient compared to transferring points to an airline (Option 1 above).

Any help would be appreciated.
