With the plane (almost) lined up on Glasgow's runway at 07.00, I thought I was going to smash the 10.30 time

Then the captain came over the tannoy, telling us ATC have said there may be serious delays over heathrow, so they need more fuel So we head back to stand, after 5 or 10 mins the fuel truck turns up and puts in more fuel. We get airborne about 08.00.

We were in a holding pattern for 1 loop, then came in and I was walking towards the heathrow express at just after 09.00. Got the heathrow express (although one had just left before we got there) and managed to get a taxi straight away - made it to customer's site about 10.00. So still before he said, but not as early as I'd hoped for.

Still not sure about the fuel story - I checked online when we were at the gate getting refueled, and the only real delay on heathrow arrivals was our flight, saying "PLEASE CONTACT AIRLINE" when every other flight had an estimated time of arrival.

Anyway sitting in the T5 lounge waiting for the return flight - been a long day!
