Greetings -- Although most reviews here give me many reasons to skip this resort it is my 20th Wedding Anniversary and spent my honeymoon here when the property was a Hyatt.
I will be taking my family of four for our winter vacation and celebrate this occasion from Dec 23 - Dec 30. I will be using all SPG points for the stay..I am PLAT and will report back on how I was treated, any perks, upgrades and overall attitude of the staff.
My hope is as Plat and this property now Starwood it should be much more special then how I was treated the first time in 1992!
I welcome any restaurant recommendations since most have probably changed in 20 years!

Hi, I'll be heading there Feb 4th to Feb 9th as a Plat as well for my honeymoon. Used my points and suite upgrades. I hope they do acknowledge it.
Any tips or suggestions on how to get to the island and timing. Don't want to miss my plane, ferry, etc.
My plan is to take taxi and local ferry. My main concern is the going home part. What time would be reasonable to leave St John on Saturday to catch the ferry and make it to my flight in STT?
My current flight plans.
Flying Jetblue from SJU to STT
Feb 4th 3:35PM. Arrive 4:13PM
STT to SJU
Feb 9 4:55PM, Arrive 5:35PM
