Looking through hotels for San Jose, Costa Rica and noticed a currency error that could be very advantageous for
Club Carlson members.
There is a Park Inn by Radisson opening in February 2013, that currently has rates for 5,000 points plus 87.00. But the 87.00 is not in $, but in CRC, meaning it is 5,000 points plus 17 cents! Since you can purchase 5,000 Gold points for $35, this deal could be $35.17/night. Or if you have 5,000 Club Carlson points, you could get this for 17 cents/night.
The first available date I could find was 2/20-2/21. Note that the other hotels are points + USD.
