My plan is to redeem a return ticket between LAX and CTU (inland China), which needs 1+ stop (either PEK, PVG or somewhere else). But according to my research on Krisflyer website, there is no redeem option for it in its Mileage Calculator. Could you give any suggestion?

Many thanks.
You can do the following:

LAX-SFO-ICN-CTU (same-day connection) UA-SQ-OZ: $277 taxes & charges
(SFO-ICN-CTU on OZ-OZ will cost $215 in taxes & charges if you want to fly OZ transpac)
CTU-NRT-LAX (same-day connection) NH-SQ: $226 taxes & charges

The round-trip will cost 90k miles and you will also enjoy much shorter journey times than going through SIN, not to mention vastly lower charges.

Alternatively, I would pay a revenue ticket one-way and redeem F for the other direction, which would be 100k miles one-way and worth a heck of a lot more in terms of value for miles. Might as well enjoy one of the few privileges of KF miles which is redemptions in Suites...
