SQ codeshare with SILKAIR (MI) which flies direct from SIN to CTU.
But website does not allow you to book it. Need to call KF help centre.
LAX-SIN-CTU-SIN-LAX = 85k KF miles + US$935 in YQ +taxes !!!
Luggage will be interline.
You can do a stopover in SIN.
That would be a poor usage of miles in respect of YQ +taxes.
My suggestion is try to get 20.5k more KF miles ( either transfer from Starwood / Amex rewards ) and book LAX-SFO-HKG-SFO-LAX in J (biz) class for 127.5k miles + US$700. But please call KF center to make sure this is available and bookable before transferring the miles. Amex transfer is usually instantaneous to less than 24 hours.
then buy the cheapest tix you can or redeem other miles you have for HKG-CTU-HKG. You can have a side trip in HKG.
