I think the spin has come from BA with the many 'Enhancements' including CC cut backs, re-configured aircraft with extra rows of seats squeezed in and the big cut back in catering.

It is good though to see B.A trying to improve the product again....

Yes, I understand what you mean.

I and many crew can not understand why they have left the extra row of seats in each of the exBMI aircraft! Which makes for a lot less legroom particularly at the front. Their 319s and 320s have one more row of seats compared to the BA version.

I did ask and was told they were monitoring the customer reaction to this!

Hopefully passengers will complain or I foresee an extra row being added to all the BA Airbuses!!
