What exactly does this message in red mean?

I got a re- confirmation email today for an upcoming stay at the Hampton Inn Mexico City for next week. The email was Hilton generated in the typical layout with my status etc. But at the top of the email was this message in red:

Please note that the hotel will no longer be managed by Hilton Worldwide after 15th August 2012 but your reservation will be honoured. For questions please contact the hotel on +44 20 89028839.

Does this mean that I am not going to get Hilton points or status recognition?

( The hotel still comes up when you go through the Hilton website)
