A customer friendly code would have no 0, 0, 1, I, etc. - that makes them friendly.
However for security and to keep the most combinations possible, full letters and numbers are almost always used unless the code is very long (which would overcome the security concerns).
And I tell you from experience in the industry - it doesn't matter how you distinguish zeros and ohs, someone will always read them incorrectly.
OP, have you considered changing the dispaly typeface of your web browser?
