Then you won't have a problem. The gifted points reservation has to stay in your name and your uncle should be added as a guest. If your uncle is an SPG member and he gives them his SPG account number, he will get the stay/night credit instead of you. Otherwise, no one gets it.

I would suggest having your Ambassador sort this all out before your uncle arrives. He/she can tell the property that it is a gifted reservation, give them his SPG account number in advance for their records, and note that you will not be there.

Your uncle will be expected to give them a credit card at check-in for any incidental charges he may have, so he needs to know that as well.
