My wife and I plan to go by train from KIX to Nara early morning, stopping first at Horyuji Temple and then on to central Nara for sightseeing--and then late in day to Kyoto. It all seems feasible except that we will each have a suitcase. So, will there be storage lockers at the JR stations at Horyuji Station and at Nara Station? I will appreciate hearing if anyone has been to the two stations.
Also, can and should we buy a train pass at KIX to cover the three legs of our train journey from KIX to Kyoto?
