Sorry, the dealers won't exchange it - you just need to go to the cashier's cage located on the floor of each casino, much like those in the States. They will exchange USD for you - there are no seperate ForEx desk and the entire transaction is very quick.
BTW, table games are well spaced and spread out - or not crowded together like those back in USA. Be prepared for having lots of watchers for the actions as they will standing behind/next to you, outnumbering the actual players. Even the slots area feel very spacious compared to what we've been accustomed to at our local hometown casinos.
Letitride3c: Several questions for you or others. Do the Macau casinos have some of our US games like Let It Ride or 3/4 card poker? What kind of dress/attire is permissible to enter/play in the casinos? Thanks
