Not heard of these 3V Visa cards before. Tesco aside, do I understand it correctly that you could purchase e.g. £1000 gift card on your Amex from say Boots (who show as a retailer on their site), and then use it to purchase something online for £900 let's say and total cost will be £901? The extra £1 being the transaction fee mentioned somewhere on forum?
And obviously have £99 left on the 3V?
Sounds too good to be true? Someone correct me


Edit: the above of course assumes the site you are purchasing item worth £900 from doesn't accept Amex!
