I'm looking for some advice regarding Baggage allownce on a flight to TPE in May.

I will be travelling with BA in Economy from LHR to HKG, and then CX in Economy from HKG to TPE, both booked through BA on the same ticket.

Normally with BA I would only get 1 bag at 23KG but as I am Silver i should get 2 bags at 32KG each, is that correct?

How do CX read this rule? I noticed on their website they they operate the "Most Significant Carrier" rule which means they would match the baggage allowence from BA at 23KG for 1 bag instead of their normal 20KG, but would they match the silver amount?

It shouldn't be a problem on the outward journey as i'm checked in with BA, but on the return journey i have to check in using CX, and I dont want to turn up with 2 bags at 32KG and have to pay $60 per KG
