The Premier Rewards Gold card is better suited for comparison in terms of spending -- 3x on airfare, 2x on gas/groceries and 15K bonus on $30k calendar spend. The regular Platinum card gets 1x on everything (the Mercedes branded one gets 5x on Mercedes purchases).

Come on, for normal consumers Signature and Platinum are top tier cards. But whatever, my point that they are the same level still remains. Visa Signature actually does have concierge and travel benefits such as the equivalent to FHR.. like I mentioned already. Whether your like it or not these cards appeal to mostly the same audience so there are bound to be comparisons.
