I'm willing to bet WN offers you something if you push the case, but probably not all that you are looking for.

Were there overhead paging announcements specifically for you and other passengers? I hear them all the time quoting the 10 minute rule. Or where they so overwhelmed given the holidays and circumstances that it was skipped?
They usually do make overhead announcements for passengers that have checked in but not boarded. But they would not have done that in this case because the flight was overbooked, and they had no seats for them. No reason to call them to board seats that were not there.

Southwest owes them $5000. 4 times the cost of their tickets, plus a refund of their tickets since they had to to fly another airline. The DOT is very clear that this must be paid on the spot--so SW has already committed a very serious violation of DOT regulations. They would be advised to pay what they owe pronto and get into compliance.
