What's funny is Google has moved away from the buttons separate from the screen, and the menu button -- my biggest complaint (along with a somewhat stricter list of media formats than with HTC/Samsung devices) with the Nexus series. Really bugs me on my wife's Galaxy Nexus both to lose the screen real estate to on-screen buttons in some apps and the lack of a main-row menu button in favor of the only-sometimes-there upper right corner one.
