I think Cyclogenesis has the right to complain and should complain! One of the reasons you upgrade yourself is the expectation of getting first class service. He asked for a service. He was denied the service with no explanation and has to reask for service again after which he is told that he has been reported to the FO. Clearly the FA was rude in not addressing whatever issue they had with him, ignoring his request for service rather than the direct refusal which if there was an issue should have been provided. Then on the second request hit him with being reported was an unwarranted overreaction to a situation they created. None of this behaviour can be justified by any assessment of sobriety or assessment the passenger may have had too much to drink. It is simply appalling service.
