I think AF is close to finishing their upgrades to the "NEV5" seat in J. The recline is close enough to 180° that you do not slide, and the AVOD is actually quite nice. The older seats are crappy IMO. The other issue with Affaires is that the seats are not staggered like has become commonplace in J, so I wouldn't want a window seat. Providing aircraft type might help others give you more specifics.

When I flew with them in July, the food was good (minus the beef out of CDG), I really liked the wine, and the service was attentive.
