Best Price you've found, Hertz (Worldwide Sale CDP 766960) €579 (= $767 at today's exchange rate). This is a prepaid rate ,(including supp. Liability, CDW). (But our german AMEX Plat. also includes both insurance coverages)[/strike] I've just found another reduction of my above mentioned $431 rate (Budget) changed to $407 yesterday.

Amex Plat and Hertz Global Sale had pay-now rates of $506.49; the cheapest pay-later rate I could get was $580.73 using any of the CDPs (except Global Sale). I'd stick with your $407 rate from Budget if I were you.
