The voucher issue at Admirals clubs is a strange one. Some lounges happily give you 2 each upon arrival. Others (and I have had this happen consistently in SFO which is otherwise a very nice lounge) are like trying to pry a single voucher from the snapping jaws of a gator. I don't understand this inconsistency and the suggestion that I can avail myself of the "free well drinks" (read unheard of brands you might find in Aldi or Lidl).
It was a struggle to get 2 vouchers for an early morning cappuccino and a smoothie at SFO last Sunday.
I have had trouble at SFO also. If you want a voucher without having to beg (I joke) don't approach the older gent who often is manning the counter. He has never yet offered to give me a voucher; I have always had to ask for them.
