I'd also quite like to able to upgrade from WTP to CW on the inbound TATL leg, given this would be a night flight (unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any availability that I can see).
Assuming you do manage to get CW on the way home, are TPs more important than a good night's sleep, or the other way round?
Flying LAX-JFK-LHR is great for TPs if you book it right, not so good for a decent night's sleep - especially if on the day of your JFK flight you've actually already adjusted to Pacific time
