I booked a reward domestic flight in XN class and requested it to be waitlisted for IN. In the past the mileage required for IN would be taken out of my account and on the web my reservation will show the flight twice, once as confirmed in XN and then as waitlisted for IN. However I only see my XN reservation and a note "IN Class requested" on the website. Only the miles for economy was taken out.

Is it a new way of waitlisting or did the agent do something wrong?
