Halong Bay is a must do and my boat was very comfortable and only had about 15 people. But all the boats sail the same seas, anchor in the same harbors, and we definitely heard the party boats at night.

Sapa is beautiful and if you enjoy trekking, it would be a great way to cool off and take the slow road.
