One can always count on WHBM for the rest of the story and I, for one, am always quite appreciative!

So in the spirit of the moment, here are some additional questions to accompany the ten items I submitted above....

All of the following have a time line of the fall of 1979:

11) At this time, Air Canada was operating hourly scheduled shuttle service from Toronto (YYZ) to Montreal (YUL) from 7:00am to 8:00pm every weekday. What was the aircraft type used for this shuttle service on a Monday through Friday basis? And for bonus points, identify substitute equipment types used on the weekends by Air Canada for this hourly shuttle service as well as other aircraft that AC flew on the route.

12) Air Canada also had some competition on the YYZ-YUL route, although these two airlines offered far fewer flights. Identify both competitors and the respective equipment types they operated YYZ-YUL.

13) This small airline operated Vickers Viscount aircraft in scheduled passenger service from the Montreal Airport (YUL). Name the air carrier. ANSWERED

14) Two airlines were competing on the Montreal (YUL)-Quebec City (YQB) route at this time. Identify both air carriers and the respective aircraft types they operated on the route. ANSWERED

15) You wish to fly nonstop from Philadelphia (PHL) to Montreal (YUL). What airline would you call and what type of equipment would you be flying on? ANSWERED
