Ah, but WDH is more than an airport. Maybe the OP would like to spend a day or two in Windhoek? It's a pretty town and just a few hours by car you can be in Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and the Skeleton Coast! If you like african history and have read Wilbur Smith, this isn't a bad idea
