Oh, they'll not make you wade knee-deep in water, you'll go by boat. For me it's more interesting when the water is high, as a part of the forest is under water. I don't think it rains more during that time, just the water level is high.

I don't know what exactly they fly over the meeting of the waters, it's some seaplane. The flight over Iguassu is by helicopter.
