I'll agree with that. I just had one for a rental, not entirely sure what engine it was, but I'm guessing the 2.5L (meant to check, never got around to it). But the trunk was probably the thing that stood out to me most. Did a better job fitting my luggage than my 2003 Passat.

Can't say I was hugely impressed with it otherwise, it was an adequate car, but not one I'd be in a hurry to get back to.
