8) What airline operated Lockheed L-1049 Constellation service into Resolute (YRB) in far northern Canada?

I can only think of two Canadian Constellation operators - those being TCA and Nordair. There are probably more, but since so far as I know TCA didn't fly up to Canada's northern arctic communities, I'm gonna have to go with Nordair. To be honest, I think of Resolute as PWA country and if Nordair ever flew there, I'm unaware of it but what the heck - I've been wrong before and have still lived to stumble through to another day, so Nordair it is. That's my final answer.
Correct! And it appears this was a scheduled service.

From the June 1968 Nordair timetable....

ND 43: depart Montreal (YUL) 11:59pm, arrive Resolute (YRB) 7:15am - This flight operated on Tuesdays only (with a Wednesday morning arrival at YRB).

ND 44: depart Resolute (YRB) 9:15am, arrive Frobisher Bay (YFB) 2:15pm, depart Frobisher Bay (YFB) 3:15pm, arrive Montreal (YUL) at 8:15pm - This flight operated on Wednesdays only. Note that Frobisher Bay is now known as Iqaluit.

So according to this timetable, the service was a nonstop going north Montreal-Resolute and a onestop heading back south via Frobisher Bay.

Equipment was a Lockheed L-1049H Super Constellation.

In later years, Nordair operated scheduled Boeing 737-200 service between Resolute and Montreal via an intermediate stop or two, although the flight was not daily. Nordair was also eventually acquired by CP Air.....
