I figured that 26 number were revenue non-upgrade waitlisted PAX without a seat. I guess I'm wrong and that includes upgrade waitlisted pax and not orphaned coach PAX. Oops!
I'll write off my low priority on the list on what is usually a very high upgade rate flight to dl.com bugs.
You are not confused. As others have pointed out in other threads, the web upgrade list includes HK's (people confirmed on the flight waiting for a seat assignment in Y). I believe it also includes standys. So if ther was a way to figure out how many listed on the "upgrade" list were HK's, then look at the number of unassigned seats in Y, you could get a pretty good idea if the flight is oversold.
