Like many people I can't travel on Tuesdays or Wednesdays so the impact on me is very small. But if they start making this a frequent and routine way to devalue points earned by loyal passengers they'll see their best customers heading for the exits.
I understand your stance. However any amount of this tactic is unacceptable. Southwest was adamant when introducing RR2 that point redemptions would be proportional, at set ratios, to fares. They're not living up to their word. It's horseshit.
