More ineptitude in this seamless merger.
My SWA status also expired, why in the world wouldn't they continue to monitor use of their affiliate airline and give status in the program? The status they gave encouraged me to use SWA several times in 2012 while flying out west and on some eastern routes, while also flying AirTran a couple of dozen times. I ended up with 29,000 points on SWA, FWIIW.
But now they don't want me to use the SWA network, just AirTran's, where I am elite until 2014?
At times I think there's an inner skill at work on this merger by SWA's people that the folks on here from FT (like me) just don't get. But this is just a careless, dumb mistake. The emperor wears no clothes.
