But you can't do that on a revenue booking? I don't always pay for my own flights (or I have to claim it back, so I don't want to book them with Avios) so it would be good to be able to have the Joker availability in F to upgrade into.
I'm amazed anyone gets the time to use up their GUF2s and Jokers, I certainly don't.
I think Jokers may be harder for me to use than GUF2. GUF2 is easy. I'd use them as GUF1 to upgrade to F from CW. CW-F upgrades are my regular way of travelling, so I get lots of opportunities to use them (and the award availability on my main routes are often good).
