There are plenty of ten or eight corded ones out there (depending on which you buy) that are in the $3 to $4 range.

To me they have always seemed to be a waste, I need three or four different plugs, and one of them I need for multiple devices, so having ten means there are seven that will never get used, and as there is only one of each I would still need an adapter to charge a second device of the same type.

Before the chargepod I would take three or four cables I need, tie them in a knot together and use a wall usb charger to charge two at a time (though I could go four in the ultimate charger thread)
