I am flying from SJC to LIH (San Jose, CA to Kauai) tomorrow on Alaska and went to check in and it is $100 to upgrade to first class. Coach is mostly full, so I doubt I'd get an empty middle seat next to me. Do you think it is worth it to upgrade to F for $100?

I put in my Delta frequent flyer number because I never fly Alaska. I will be flying to India on Delta this year, so I'll be close to qualifying for silver status. Will I get extra EQM on Delta if I upgrade to F on Alaska?
