After being in CE yesterday, I was asked almost every 5-8 minutes if I needed a drink, from the time the crew were out their seats until the 10 minutes to landing call. I'm sure your wife will not dehydrate.

Would I take drinks or snacks out of the lounge? No, I believe that they are there to be consumed during the time in which a passenger is in the lounge.

As for the FCO lounge, it gets a bad reputation on here, but it is not the worst lounge that BA passengers have the pleasure to visit.
