No, actually AC has also significantly increased the discount Executive First fare to many Asian destinations in the past 6~9 months. It is now the most expensive amongst carriers flying to Asia (both TPAC and TATL) from North America, including CX.
Perhaps to some destinations, but I've been looking at flying YVR-NRT this month and AC is the cheapest at ~$3.7k, which actually isn't bad at all.
