Never been to the one in Arcadia but the one in Shang Hai is nothing comparing to the original Din Tai Fung in Taipei :-).
There used to be a hot pot place (Chou's)on Valley Blvd in San Gabriel.
The old woman owner would make up binlang there, you could smoke, bring in our own liquor and the hot pot was great.
Kinda like being in Taipei!
