As bonuspay points out, job context may be a factor. One nice thing about the eBags TLS is the backpack straps can be hidden and, with a shoulder strap it can be used in a business context. Personally, I find the logo obnoxious but a black felt marker can fill it in so that it is subtle. I have a small laptop that I keep in a Waterfield Design sleeve that also has D-rings, a shoulder strap & a piggyback. Those stow nicely inside the eBay TLS Mother lode and allow me to "undock" from it.

For reference, I run a company that provides investment services to large corporations and my main contacts are C/Board level.
