Here are the latest CX cut-cost measure w.e.f. 01/01/2013:
1) KA will no longer serve hot meal for all Taiwan and Manila routes in economy class
2) CX will serve only BOX MEALS for CX791 and CX798, and is expected to expand the scope of box meals service to other routes as well on economy passengers
Probably, some days later CX will turn into another BA, only provide breakfast for Euro Traveller and snacks for other period.
damn I usually pick the KA flights for the TW routes over the CX since KA had nice hot meal.. and CX was just that cold sandwich in Y... looks like now I can pick the flight with better times since KA has no more hot meals
