Marriott website times out too fast?
Not sure if you guys share the same feeling as me, that the Marriott website times you out too fast, that a lot of times, when I'm in the middle of something, like doing rate/room researches, it gets timed out, and I have to log in again, and get redirected not to the page I was on, but straight to the home page. Very annoying.
I can understand they want to time people out because you may be on a public computer (in a hotel business centre, for example) and you may forget to log out yourself, but it seems to me that the time period is too short. From what I can tell, SPG doesn't time out so fast, IHG although times out as fast as Marriott but when you re-log in you are landed on the same page where you left off. The only one comparably bad is Hilton website.
Also, for Marriott's mobile app (which is just a frame for their mobile website), they time people out too, which I think is very unnecessary. Mobile apps from most other chains don't time out at all and you are always logged in your account.
