On the flip side, if you post haphazardly, without thinking your posts through, and you post and then disappear for a day or two, you will not be happy with the reactions and results.
The first paragraph I agree with.
The second I do not. Most FTers have jobs & don't have time to check their postings twice/day & there might be a day or two when they're not on at all due to work, travels, vacation, holidays, home life, illness, etc.
If someone posts details when they're asking a question or telling of a situation, then they'll get detailed feedback - whether the feedback be positive or negative (positive or negative is
not reliant on how often they check in). If they provide few details then it does make it harder to provide any feedback, and that's true whether the poster is a newbie or an old-timer.
sophie, I think TSA forum got split into 2 sections to make it easier for topics to get handled (and for the poor mods of that forum - people do have some strong feelings about TSA

).
To the OP - don't be scared off by the reaction in this thread. Just realize that the more details you provide the easier it is to provide information to you. Overall FT is a great website for learning more about travel & travel programs, especially when one is new either to travel or to FT.
Cheers.
