What exactly happens in this situation? My guess is you would go into a negative balance and all future points will be taken off this amount till you are even again?
I guess technically one could get a card and max it with refundable first class ticket purchases to get the extra airline bonus. Pay off the minimum payment the first month and transfer all points then cancel the card.
