I don't think it's a problem, some people have a separate fb accounts for signing up for contests, offers, etc to keep that stuff separate from their personal accounts. Just use separate email addresses, and you can use your middle initial with one and not use it with the other one. Just log out of one account then you can log into the other account.

You will also want to make sure you are using the correct level of privacy controls in both accounts.

My personal practice with fb is to not leave any browser page open to a facebook page. They are very clever at what they do, and their web page code pushes the envelope and is very active, and uses resources when open.

If there's something they can do, they will usually do it.
